In this episode, Matt shows you how to copy filters that you’ve applied to one layer and paste them into their own layer.
Oh man, this is handy!
I do this a little different. 🙂
I just hit cmd+z for one undo,
duplicate the layer with cmd+j
and hit cmd+f to reapply the filter.
So three fast shortcuts will do the job too. 🙂
That’ll work too Karsten – only trick is that if it’s a time consuming Filter (maybe on a large photo, or something like ON1 that takes 10-15 seconds to apply), then you have to wait all over again for it to re-run the filter. With this method, it happen instantly.
