    Hi Matt
In your LR module “setting defaults” (Mod 0623) you suggest setting the default for things you do regularly. My question is: If you set it for a particular camera, then all your imports will have this default which is fine if you only take one style of picture with that camera. Why do you suggest this method instead of just setting an import preset for things like lens profiles and chromatic aberration, which you can chose to use or not as the case may be? Is there any advantage in setting defaults over the import preset option?

Hi John. Yes, you could do that as well. Either way works.
Also, I believe that video was just to let you know the feature is there. I actually never use it, nor do I set defaults. I’m usually pretty vocal in those videos when I come across something that I believe you absolutely must do/use 🙂

Thanks Matt. I wondered if I was missing something. I agree that defaults should only be used when they apply to every single image. Enjoying your course by the way.
