What You’ll Learn
The Lightroom System is like getting 13 Lightroom Courses in 1.
The system is broken down in to 13 mini courses/sections. Each one is a self-contained section that covers a key area of Lightroom. That way, you can jump in and learn exactly what you want to learn without having to go through everything.
Learn how Lightroom Classic (subscription version) has ways to let you instantly publish your photos to an online gallery or portfolio (for free).
If you’re confused by all of the differnet verisons of Lightroom this course will help. You’ll understand which version to use but also learn where / how / why the other versions can be used in your workflow.
This course covers the full printing workflow as well as the various ways to share via books, slideshows and online galleries.
The most complete Lightroom Catalog resource on the planet (I’ve looked). Finally understand how it works and never let your catalog get away from you again.
Learn by Doing
The videos in the Lightroom System are short and simple. That makes it easy to jump around and learn what you want without getting bogged down in a long 20 minute video and forgetting where you are.

What version of Lightroom?
This course was created with Lightroom Classic (version 9, recorded in early 2020). Most tools are the same no matter what version. And many things will still work in earlier versions of Lightroom.
Do I Need This if I Have the Ultimate Lightroom or Lightroom System 1.0?
No. This is the same course, just redone and newly updated in the latest version. And because I promised back then that my course would be the only “basic / starter” Lightroom course you needed, you get a FREE upgrade to this course if you’re an owner. Just send us a message and we’ll get you upgraded to new videos + online streaming 🙂
Can I use this on another computer?
Yes, you can use this course on up to 4 computers.
What is the skill level needed?
Can I watch on my iPad?
Yes, you can either stream the course if you have an internet connection – OR – the download videos are compatible with tablets. You’ll just need to download on your computer first, then transfer them over.
Do I have to follow a schedule for this course?
No. Once your purchase is complete, you’ll receive access to the entire course. After that, you’re free to watch what you want whenever you want.
Is this a subscription?
So… what’s different about the Lightroom System
Well, let me lay out for you how most other Lightroom training bundles come to life. First, a 1-2 hour course is created on some specific area in Lightroom. I’ll use me as an example: I created a course years ago on catalogs because that’s what people asked for. Then, a few months later people asked about importing their photos, so I created another course. But I didn’t really think about my catalog course when I created it. Been there, done that, outta mind, outta sight. Plus, I wasn’t sure if these people would be watching that course. And then a while later, I created a course on the design module… you get the idea.
Eventually those courses were put together into a bundle, and sold together as a one-stop place to learn Lightroom. Looking back, I don’t think they were. They weren’t created together, in a way where one course knew the other course would be in existence. And because of that, I think it was fragmented, lots of duplicate info, and lots of missing topics that would link everything together.
The result. An easy-to-use system to learn Lightroom that you own. You download and keep the videos to watch whenever you want, however many times you want. It’s got an outline that lists all 15 “courses” within the system, as well as prerequisite videos I think you should watch as the topics get more complex.
For a beginner, it gives you a clear path of how to tackle and start learning Lightroom. For someone that knows enough to be dangerous in Lightroom, it gives you a clear way to jump in to just the topics that you want to learn about without having to watch more basic videos that you already know.
To tell you the truth, it’s a project that I had no idea how I’d tackle when I started. And it’s become one of the projects I’m proudest of in my entire career.

“Who is Matt Kloskowski?
By being a teacher first, I hold nothing back. No secrets. That’s because my only goal is to help you get better. I’ve been doing this stuff for almost 20 years and consider my biggest talent to be understanding how people learn, and helping them achieve what they want with their photography. In 2013 I was inducted to the Photoshop Hall of Fame, and also have the honor of being included as one of Sony’s Artisans of Imagery.
