Matt Kloskowski’s
Month with matt
A short, guided reset to simplify your
editing and Photography
focus for 2026.
Not a course. Not a subscription.
Just a month to get clear and move forward.
Tired of Getting the Same Results Every Year?
What you need is a new and entirely different approach!
Is Procrastination Holding you back?
“Procrastination stems from perfectionism… plain and simple!”
Procrastination holds me back and I’m sure I’m not alone. But, over the years, I’ve learned ways to over come this need for things to be perfect and I can help teach you how to keep yourself moving forward.
If you’re reading this right now, then chances are…
Training Overload
Techie Person
You know everything about techie stuff, but no “creative” skills.
Even worse, you’re the techie/gearhead that thinks they know everything and won’t admit their photos don’t have that wow factor.
In a Photo rut
Gearhead
Lacking Inspiration
Photo Paralysis
You’re paralyzed and not moving. Photos still on memory cards, you’re not editing, and you’re not sharing anything.
You’re not alone!
• have training courses, but aren’t using them
• simply don’t know where to begin
• or from people who are stuck and not moving forward, and usually worried about the wrong things
What Is A Month With Matt?
What this Is
A 4-week guided reset focused on:
Simplifying decisions
Reducing tool overload
Rebuilding confidence
Creating momentum without pressure
What this is NOT
A course
A tutorial, tip, technique or workflow order
A long-term membership
A “post every day or fail” environment
Another Facebook group that becomes noise in your feed
WhO This is for?
This Is For You If…
You feel overwhelmed by tools, presets and options
You’ve purchased courses but struggle to watch and apply them
You want some thoughtful guidance
You want a repeatable workflow that helps you feel confident—not stuck or unsure of what to do next
This May Not Be For You If…
You want constant new content
You have Lightroom Catalog problems and want answers (pssst… my LR System Course Covers this)
You’re looking for a step by step Lightroom or Photoshop course or technique
You’re hoping that I’ll be able to fix your particular workflow that nobody else has.
Our 4 Week Plan
Please note that some of the content is subject to change based on ideas and concepts that develop throughout the 4 weeks.
Week 1 – Reset and Simplify
Before we talk about workflows, presets, AI tools, or anything else, we’re going to do something far more important: We’re going to reduce the noise. Most people in this community don’t need more information. They need fewer inputs and better decisions.
Week 2 – One Workflow That Actually Works
Last week was about removing noise in your workflow. This week is about replacing it with something stable. Most editing frustration comes from switching approaches mid-stream. Whether it’s new presets, new AI Tools, or something else, or a new approach halfway through. This week we’re going to do something boring – on purpose. And while it sounds odd, I have a feeling that you’ll come out of this week feeling better about your skills than ever before.
Week 3 – Edit with Intent
Most people don’t struggle with editing. They struggle with stopping. This week is about restraint. A finished photo isn’t perfect. It’s intentional. This week is not about goals. It’s about permission to stop. To be done and move on to the next.
Week 4 – A Realistic Plan for 2026
Most photographers fail not because they lack discipline to be better – but because they expect too much of themselves.
This week, I’m going to ask you to define what kind of photographer and editor you actually are right now. What do you want to shoot and what software do you want to use to edit. That will give us the blueprint to figure out some realistic milestones and improvements you can make going forward.
How we’ll do it?
On Monday January 12th, You’ll receive access to a private website.
Everything you need will be on this website.
Every video and live call will be available within a day of airing for replay.
However, when the Month with Matt is complete, you’ll receive a download link to download all of the videos on the website, as well as a PDF of the core content we covered each week, so you can keep it and refer back to it whenever you’d like.
1 – A Short “Anchor” Post Each Week
Each week starts with one short anchor post/video from me. This sets the focus for the week:
-
What we’re paying attention to
-
What we’re ignoring
-
And one small action to take
I’m not teaching you tools here – I’m guiding your decisions and you’ll have the interaction with me and the community to help give you a safety net with those decisions and choices.
2 – Several Prompts or “Nudges” From Me To Help You Focus Throughout the Week
During the week, I’ll share a few optional prompts, nudges or questions.
These are there to:
-
Help you reflect
-
Encourage discussion
-
Or help you think through decisions
While you’re welcome to respond, You’re NEVER expected to respond to everything – or anything.
3 – Weekly Live Q&A Call (These will be recorded)
Each week includes a live Q&A call. I’m still working out the exact schedule, but they’ll either be Tuesdays at 1:00 PM Eastern or Wednesdays at 1:00 PM Eastern and most likely a combination of both for some variety.
These calls are meant to:
-
Answer real questions
-
Talk through confusion
-
And help people think clearly
There will be NO teaching on these calls. They’re not required, and you don’t need to attend every week. If you can’t make it live, every call is recorded and posted inside the community within 24 hours of it originally airing.
If you’re worried about the live call schedule remember this: Most people will get the most value from this program simply from the weekly focus, reading the discussions, and applying what resonates. That is how it’s designed.
Think of the live calls as support – not something you need to plan your week around.
Lastly, it’s called A Month with Matt for a reason. I’m not doing anything else this month but working in this community. If you can’t get your question answered (assuming it’s on topic, and not some random Photoshop or Lightroom software or tutorial question, then that’ll mean you never tried).
Week 4 – A Realistic Plan for 2026
Most photographers fail not because they lack discipline – but because they expect too much of themselves or their equipment and software.
This week, I’m going to ask you to define what kind of photo editor and photographer you actually are right now. That will give us the blueprint to figure out some realistic milestones and improvements you can make going forward.
Stop Thinking That You’re Missing Out!
Learn how to stop wondering if you’re missing out on something. That there’s some technique, camera setting, or editing trick that’s holding you back.
“I know the things holding you back because I hear from people with these concerns EVERY DAY!”
Part of this 4-week program is to help you get past this “FOMO” syndrome (Fear of Missing Out) that we all deal with, and get you on the track of feeling comfortable that you already have exactly what you need.
Not another Photoshop or Lightroom Course
I want to be clear. This is not another Photoshop or Lightroom or software course. That doesn’t mean you won’t learn anything, but if you’re looking to learn more about the software itself, or about how to take photos there are literally thousands of courses out there for that. There is nothing like this.
I understand that it’s not for everyone, so I wanted to be clear up front. The power of this program will be it’s small size, because most of the people reading this think what their photography is missing is some tool, technique or new feature, and they won’t sign up. (Pssst… that’s a good thing for the rest of us) 🙂
It is important for you to know this… I will not be answering every random Lightroom/Photoshop, software, or camera question you have.
I will, however, answer all questions that are on topic with our weekly focus.

FAQs
How will I access the content?
After you purchase, on January 11th, 2026 you’ll receive access to a private website. Everything will be delivered there.
What is the time commitment?
You should at least be able to devote 30 minutes each week to this. But as you go along, you’ll probably want to devote more time. I don’t know how else to say it so I’ll just say it… you’ll get what you put in. Plain and simple. If you’ve got no time to put in to this right now, and you think that maybe one day you’ll be able to look back and catch up, then don’t sign up. This was not designed for you.
What if I’m traveling or can’t participate in most of the 4-week period?
Then don’t sign up. I’m not sure if I’ll do this again, but let’s be on the safe side. If you can’t participate then you’re defeating the purpose of this whole thing.
What software or gear will I need?
Most of the editing we talk about will be Adobe based (Lightroom Classic, Lightroom Desktop and Photoshop). Though part of our content will be reviewing other potential software. As for gear, this is not a shooting assignment so no photo gear will be needed.
If I have a software or camera question, is A Month with Matt a good place for me?
Hi… I’m Matt
Hi, I’m Matt! I’m a Photoshop, Lightroom (and whatever other software you wanna use) Guy that helps people navigate the crazy waters of photography and photo editing
