The YouTube Rabbit Hole
Don’t get me wrong… I love YouTube for certain things.
But once you start looking on YouTube you’ll start getting turned around in all directions for what you want to learn. The problem with that is it can get confusing because now you’re learning all different ways to do things from many different people – and in many cases you’re not learning the “right” way – you’re just learning what that creator decided would make a good video to get a lot of views with that day.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Software / Versions will I need?
This course is recorded in the 2023 version of Photoshop and includes any updates for the changes in Photoshop 2024. Many things will work in earlier versions as well, but it’s best to have the latest version to take advantage of all of the vidoes.
Do I Need This if I already own the Photoshop System Course? And is that course a prerequisite?
These two courses are 100% seperate and don’t rely on each other. This course is a great follow up to the Photoshop System course, but it is not a prerequisite to have purchased that course.
If you’re brand new to Photoshop, then this course may NOT be the place to start because I won’t teach you the concepts from the ground up – that’s what the Photoshop System is for.
This “How To” course assumes you know the basics of how to get around Photoshop and use the basic tools. This allows me to teach the intermediate user faster and more efficiently because I don’t have to cover each concept from scratch – and allows you the viewer, to learn faster and easier.Â
How is this different from your Photoshop System Course?
The Photoshop System course was created to teach you Photoshop from the ground up. And because it’s meant for beginners, it concentrates more on teaching you what a layer is, what a selection is, brush basics, masking basics, etc…
The problem is that the most common questions I get are “How To’s”. But that simply doesn’t make sense for a basic Photoshop course, because you need the foundation first.Â
This course picks up to more of a late beginner to intermediate level Photoshop User. I’m assuming you know the basics, which let us dive in to every video to the “How To’s” and get right to it – rather than (for example…) having to go slow and explain what a layer is, and how to add a new one.Â
Do I Get a Discount if I Already Purchased the Photoshop System?
The course is on sale right now so there are no further discounts. If you wait until after the sale, then sure… feel free to email us if you already have the Photoshop System and we’ll get you a discount, but it will not be as low as the price is this week and will not include the bonuses.Â
What is the skill level of this course?
This course can be for a late beginner all the way up advanced. As long as you know the basics, I think there is a TON you can take away from it.
But if you’re an advanced user, please make sure you go at this with the right mindset. I (most likely) won’t be teaching you a new tools. When you’re advanced, if you learn how to use an existing tool in a new way or better, than you got your money’s worth.
Don’t buy this if you’re going to say “I already knew that”. There’s enough new content in here that I know that’s not true 🙂

“Good editing is where taste and skill meet”
Who Is Matt?
If I could sum myself up in to one sentence I’d say that I’m a guy who really loves to teach. When I think about what I enjoy most in this industry, it’s helping people learn about photography and photo editing.
I believe that successful photography (both in camera and after) is where taste and skill meet.Â
A lot of people don’t know this, but I don’t shoot professionally anymore. At all! I have ZERO ego attached to my photography which means I don’t have any trade secrets, and I hold ABSOLUTELY NOTHING back (because my job is to teach, not shoot).
Do I love the occasional compliment on my photography? Sure… who doesn’t? But what really keeps me going is when I hear success stories from people who have taken my courses. So hop on board, and I hope to hear from you soonÂ
