Intelligent Scene Segments
Learn what each segment in the Landscape masking area is. You’ll have options for Mountains, Vegetation, Water, the Sky, Artificial Ground (concrete, walkways, etc…), Natural Ground (grass), and Architecture (buildings, houses, churches).
By first learning what each segment will target, you’ll realize that sometimes there is overlap and sometimes there’s not. And you’ll be better equipped to know which ones will help you the most.
Landscape and Outdoor Photo Selections
Everything starts with a selection / mask. With the new Landscape segmenting masks, you can automatically target parts of the photo like vegetation, architecture, water (anyone shoot waterfalls?), ground, natural ground and mountains.

The Art of Merging Masks
These new masks look simple at first glance, and they can be. Frequently Asked Questions
Are these the same as other Landscape or AI Presets I have purchased from you before?
No. These presets are brand new as of April of 2025. This feature did not exist before April 24th, 2025 so any presets or training videos you have (from me or anyone else) do not include the material here.
Simply put, these features were not possible before the April 2025 release from Adobe.
How are these different from other AI Presets?
Before April 25th, 2025 these features did not exist. Adobe AI masking included Subjects, sky, portraits and objects. But it did not include the “Landscape” option that allows for masks that split the scene up based on Architecture, vegetation, natural ground, mountains, artificial ground, water, etc…
Because of that, we now have a lot more creativity for adjusting our photos selectively whether that’s with presets, or manually taking advantage of the new masks that were added.

Absolutely please DO NOT. This is like deciding you no longer want to be on Facebook and posting that you’re leaving. Just leave… You See… every day you go through life watching ads and seeing a promotion for a product or service you don’t plan on buying. Do you send them an email? Probably not.
I get certain people have reasons for not purchasing from certain places right now. I saw an ad for a bicycle yesterday. I have no plans on buying one, but I would NEVER send them a message (especially if that reason had nothing to do with their product). I get that you may have various reasons for not purchasing this product and that’s okay. Please don’t feel the need to share that with me. I know it’s great material, but I do understand it’s not for everyone. Thanks!
I don't see the update... I can't install it... Or I'm not seeing the latest tools?
The “Landscape” section of the masking tools is in the April 2025 release of Lightroom Classic, Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw. There is no option to turn these off so if you don’t see them, then something is wrong and you’re not on the latest version.
Maybe try restarting the Adobe Creative Cloud app, or your computer. If you have any trouble with this, or with downloading the latest version it’s not something I can troubleshoot for you, so your best bet is to contact Adobe for help.
Is this a subscription?
No. It is a one time purchase. You buy it, and you own it forever. You can download it directly to your computer or log in and stream the training videos online. You get both with your purchase.
Is This For Lightroom or Photoshop?
The presets included will work in Lightroom Classic (version 14.4), Lightroom (version 8.4), and Photoshop (Camera Raw version 17.4).
The training, while created in Lightroom Classic, works exactly the same in all of the above programs and includes a video showing the similarities so regardless of which app you use, you can use these presets and training.
Will these presets and new features work on the tablet or phone version of Lightroom or Photoshop?
No they will not. The tablet and phone do not support this feature yet.
Can I just purchase the presets or the training at a discounted price?
No. The sale price is computed to make the combined presets and training a value at the current sale price. When the price goes up, we can seperate out each part but the presets alone, or the training alone, will not be cheaper than the current sale price for both. But when the price does go up, I’ll happily allow you to buy half of the product for the same price 😉
