A couple of months ago the chance to write a feature article on photograping water came up for Photoshop User magazine. So I jumped on it because, well, I love shooting water. Beaches, lakes, waterfalls… you name it. It never gets old to me. I have a few beach spots near where I live and I’ll keep going back to them. To me, something is always different and I just enjoy getting out there shooting.
So, rather than hoarding the article away, I figured I’d use it as a blatant free promotion to get you to check out Photoshop User Magazine (if you’ve never seen it) and consider joining KelbyOne.com (which gets you Photoshop User magazine as well as a ton of online training classes).

I love teaching and photography... In that order. I feel that enjoying photography, and photo editing can get WAY too complicated. So my personal mission (and favorite thing to do), is to create education that simplifies the process of taking great photos, and how to edit them to get the results you’ve always wanted.
Matt I have a subscription on KelbyOne.com Are you going to do a more in depth course on Perfect suite 8.5 specially about masking? I already do the one that you give there but I think that the software have a lot of possibilities and the manuals are not too good.
Hi. Nope, no plans for another course. I use Photoshop for my selections and haven’t seen anything better. We do have selection courses for Photoshop up on KelbyOne, so maybe try those 🙂
