Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know about a big summer sale that onOne Software is having on their plug-ins. Not only do you get the entire Perfect Photo Suite 8.5 (with their latest updates), but you get summer-styled presets and en eBook from the awesome Nicole Young.
I get asked a lot of questions on what plug-ins I use the most, and the Perfect Effects plug-in is my go to preset for all of my landscape photos. Heck, I’ll even go on record saying…
I use onOne’s Dynamic Contrast preset (included in Perfect Effects 8.5) on all of my landscape and outdoor photos
And any portraits I take get put through Perfect Portrait as well because, well, it’s just easier and faster than anything else. So if you’re looking for a good deal to pick them up, I’d definitely jump on this one because it ends soon.
Here’s the link to their website to get the $99 deal. And here’s a link to a webcast I did for them showing how I use Lightroom and Perfect Effects together.
Enjoy!
Hey Matt,
I just received an email from onone stating this offer is available again until July 31.
Hey Matt,
What website company do you use or would recommend. I see you blog and website if very fresh looking.
Thanks
Geoff
Hey Geoff – I use WordPress and bought/downloaded my theme from ThemeForest.com. It’s called “Edition”.
Thanks 🙂
Matt, that is an awesome tutorial!! Thanks so much and I have those OnOne plugins in my buy list for sure. I have one question on the focus blending example you did, I tried something similar taking two pictures at f16 one with the foreground in focus and then the background in focus. I noticed in post that the pictures were not perfectly aligned. Does changing the focus affect the zoom level slightly? Would a smaller f stop like f8 help this? Any workarounds or tips you suggest? Thanks so much and you are a true inspiration sir!!
Matt –
Do you have a professional relationship with OnOne, i.e. get paid by them or receive free software from them. I see you talk about them a lot and I was curious.
Thanks – Love your stuff.

Nope, not sponsored by them. I just like their stuff. Kinda like me writing about Lightroom, Photoshop, Canon, Lee Filters, etc… I write about things I like that I think others can benefit from. Thx 🙂
