Hi all. Happy Thanksgiving. I have some big news if you’ve purchased my Topaz Deep Dive Course or use any Topaz software.

big mistake …I forgot to buy at tday… Question for you…re you recommending Topaz sharpener vs Hipass in ps ?
Yep!
Just learned my first mistake … LR was auto set to sharpen prior to Focus stacking images and needed a big crop and make 30×30 image (shooting Nikon Z7 if saving grace here. )
Had never considered adding Topaz to my editing software suite until I watched this video. After watching, I hesitantly bought both the Topaz Suite and your Deep Dive Course. Watched the Deep Dive and loaded the software, then went back to a heron photo I took last spring on the Laguna side of Padre Island that I thought was pretty good. Did a pixel peep and discovered a lot of noise not visible at “normal” level and gave Topaz Denoise it’s first test. WOW! I am still amazed at how much difference it made to the photo. Thanks for the above overview, the recommendation (including MattK discount) on the Topaz Suite, and for your Deep Dive Course that makes the step by step process intuitive and easy!
Tried to attach the before and after edits to share just how amazing this process/software are, but the comment box wouldn’t let me.
I recently purchased the Topaz image quality bundle….thanks to seeing it demonstrated in your video! If using both Gigapixel and Sharpen, is there a preference on which to use first? Not sure if it makes a difference but wanted to get your thought. Thanks
Thanks Matt. I used your link to order Topaz software and also ordered your Deep Dive. While I haven’t used either your tutorial course as yet, but going through your demo above showed me why my pictures always had noise, and to reduce noise I used below 600 ISO, which often resulted in low shutter speed, hence somewhat blurry pics.
This is definitely the sauce that Pro’s use, and you have given the recipe for it. Thanks.
Thank you for the video and discount! Just FYI the links to Topaz did not work this morning on this page. So I went to Topaz website directly and bought the bundle using MattK15- which worked. Sorry you didn’t get credit for using the link from this page but got it the other way…
Thank you Matt for this opportunity. I was able to upgrade my 2021 TOPAZ bundle . And I just got your TOPAZ deep dive course . I am starting to get a bundle of courses from you and I am never disappointed . I really appreciate the way you teach and also be able to come back to any course when needed . I am improving my photography and my editing because of you and your talent . Lot of gratitude . Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend . All the best , Happy Holiday Season to you and your family . Re
I went back to the lessons of the original Deep-Dive course and in listening to the first few minutes of lesson 1, I heard no mention that I was looking at an update. Am I in the wrong place, or do you mention update in a later lesson?
In advance of me seeing it, thanks for doing the update.
Hi Dick. It’s a brand new course recorded from scratch. I don’t mention that it’s an update throughout the course because it just wouldn’t make sense to do that. If you’re watching the online version then you are watching the new version of the course (all videos were replaced). If you’ve downloaded it after Nov 21 then you have downloaded the new version. And if the video matches what topaz looks like then it’s the new version since the old videos showed an older version of Topaz apps. Thanks.
Great Topaz discount, Matt, thank you! It was good on renewing my annual Photo Upgrade Plan. Rare that a promotion is good on renewals as well as new purchases.
I’ve had my eye on the resources that offer the de noise and today I decided to commit to Topaz, thanks to your video and the nice discount; thank you for that! When asked who recommended it, I checked “a friend” as you’ve never steered me wrong with your advice. It may be January before I have time to to sit, learn, and apply it all, but I know it’s at the ready while I work on those “quality photos I can make even better” : D “Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, and I, too, will enjoy my Christmas music all season as well!
Good day Matt, First of all, thanks for the Deep Dive update.
Your educational videos are very well put together.
Your online tutoring of PS and LR offers me the opportunity to apply your post-processing strategies to my own work at my own pace.
The videos allow us time to listen to what we are going to do with the photo and then just do it to the photo.
You have a way of building confidence in how we handle the post-processing process.
Happy Thanksgiving Matt.

Thanks for this and the Topaz update course. I greatly appreciate the loyalty you give your customers and the effort you give in helping us develop our skills with the most up- to-date information and skill sets. It is awesome.
Why go to PS when Topaz can be used directly from LR?
Matt answered that in the video.
Thanks Matt…
Thanks for the Topaz Deep Dive. I found it very helpful. Had watched the old one and have now watched the new one. Excellent instructions and guidance. Also thanks for the heads up on the extend aspect for the Topaz updates. Got the extra year for $29.34 compared to $79. I enjoy each of your video’s.
I am interested in purchasing the topaz labs image quality bundle. I have a few question: if I purchase the bundle can all 3 programs be installed and used as plugins for my Lightroom Classic program on 3 devices that I use — my PC, my Apple laptop, and my Apple iPad?
Hi Morton. I believe so but Topaz’s website is probably the best place to double check license information, how many computers, etc…
You can use Topaz on your PC and Mac, but not on your iPad.
