I promise you this feature isn’t as boring as it sounds. Photoshop Libraries (and the corresponding Libraries Panel) can be a big help when it comes to organizing some of your commonly used images, graphics, textures, photos, etc… What’s really nice is that they automatically sync up to the Adobe cloud, so they’ll be available on any computer and any device that’s logged in to Adobe.
Get the Most From Adobe #4: Photoshop Libraries (not as boring as it sounds)

Great video Matt, a keen follower of your stuff. Would it make sense to move typical images used for sky replacements to the Creative Cloud Library as an example? Note that when I did move a few images over, that they get resized in the process. Does that mean anything?
Hi. It’s totally up to you. I don’t personally do it. I have a “Skies” folder on my computer and I know to go look in it when I want to do a sky replacement (very rare). So I wouldn’t fill up my Libraries with it. But I do put textures in there and that works well for me. Thanks!
Thanks, Matt. I’m late to the party on this one. I had never given much thought to PS Libraries, but now I can’t wait to give tis a try.
Thanks Matt, knew nothing about Libraries. Very helpful!!
Thanks Matt – really useful as always!
Thank you – this is a really cool tip!
Very nicely done and sure did not realize the potential. Thank you
Hi Matt, I have a bunch of textures I’d like to put in Libraries. Do I have to open each in PS and then add to Library? They’re all JPEGs.
Hi. You could use the App window I showed in the Creative Cloud updater to open the Library and drag them in. Or go online and drag them all in.
Thanks, Matt
Thanks, Matt, This is great to know!
I do not have any of these textures in my Libraries. Where do I get them?
Interesting and thank you but I cannot get the Libraries panel to appear in my Photoshop! Any idea why?

Woooow this is soooo cool Mate. That’s going to save heaps of time for stuff I use often.
Matt — I can’t begin to express how much I appreciate this whole series. Thank you so much for taking the time to put these together!
Thanks Matt, always informative and in this case something I’d never even considered using.
This is a good one. Thanks Matt.
Thanks Matt. This will be real useful.
Very informative. I have limited use for the libraries as I don’t do much in PS, but then if I let my mind meander outside the box, you never know!
Fantastic Series! I already partly have my Portfolio up and running, and now I will be able to access my logo and textures without having to open Bridge for them. Wonderful.
Thank you, thank you, great tutorials as always.
Thanks Matt for another great ‘PS secret’. This series is wonderful, and I certainly can put the tips you share to work!
Gems from Matt without the video sounds like a day without sunshine or orange juice. Are we missing a video?
