How to Install Brush Presets into Camera Raw

To Install Brushes into Photoshop Camera Raw:

1. Go to the folder where your brush presets are located and press Ctrl-A (Mac: Command-A to select all of the files

2. Press Ctrl-C (Mac: Command-C) to copy the files.

3. If you’re on a Windows computer go to  – Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\LocalCorrections

If you’re on a Mac go to – [your user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Camera Raw/Local Corrections

Sometimes operating systems will hide these folders. If you try to navigate to the local corrections folder and don’t see it please copy and paste the relevant link below into your browser and it’ll explain how to show hidden folders.

How To Show Hidden Files:

Windows
Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.

Mac

Open Finder.
Hold down Alt (Option) and choose Go from the dropdown menu bar at the top of the screen.
You will see the ~/Library folder listed below the Home folder

(if you get to the CameraRaw folder and there’s not a LocalCorrection folder, simply create a folder and name it LocalCorrections inside of the CameraRaw folder.

4. Inside of the Local Corrections Press Ctrl-V (Mac: Command-V) to paste the brush files into that folder.

5. Restart Photoshop
