I was surfing through 500px.com the other night (like I do often) and I was thinking it’d be cool if I could share my favorites. See, 500px is where I go most for photography inspiration and whenever I find a photo I like I “favorite” it, so I can go back and look later. Well, as you can imagine, I’m probably not the first person to think this and guess what… there’s a favorites link under your account. So I figured I’d share them with you. You’ll find all kinds of photography in here, but mostly landscape and outdoors.

I love teaching and photography... In that order. I feel that enjoying photography, and photo editing can get WAY too complicated. So my personal mission (and favorite thing to do), is to create education that simplifies the process of taking great photos, and how to edit them to get the results you’ve always wanted.

Agreed! I’ve been doing this for quite a while now. 500px has some of the best images to be found anywhere, and my favorites are my curated inspiration pool. My 500px images reflect where I am now, and my favorites reflect where I want to be.

Great photo Fred! I’ve been wanting to camp overnight there myself. In fact, me and a few friends are probably going to get a small group together to hire a guide and do just that.
Be sure and get a guide that will take you up for sunset then camp over for sunrise. Some guides try and take you up early in the morning but we have seen groups coming in well after the best morning light is gone. It’s a long, rough drive to the top of Hunts Mesa.
Some of them really remind me of your own work and a few remind me of Brian Matiash’s waterfall stuff.
