If you’re a drone user then you need to be aware of FAA regulations and rules. One of those being that flying a drone at night will require a strobe light on the drone itself that can be seen from 3 miles away.
Anyway, the team over at Lumecube recently released a light that can attach to your existing drone that will be compliant with this regulation. You can click here to go to their website.
Here’s a quick 2-minute video that shows you a little more about it. Enjoy!

I love teaching and photography... In that order. I feel that enjoying photography, and photo editing can get WAY too complicated. So my personal mission (and favorite thing to do), is to create education that simplifies the process of taking great photos, and how to edit them to get the results youโve always wanted.
Thanks, I was not aware of the change in the regs.

Matt, you are right; there are a slew of new FAA regulations that just came out last month. The biggie is that ALL drones MUST be registered with the FAA and the registration number must be clearly marked on the drone. And all non-commercial drone pilots (modeler) must also be registered. Failure to comply with the new regs is a felony.
Go here to register as a “modeler: https://faadronezone.faa.gov/#/
And go here for more info on the new regs: https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/advisory_circulars/index.cfm/go/document.information/documentID/1036029
