As I get ready to release my Wildlife Texture Blending course next week, I wanted to get you thinking about what types of photos work well for this type of technique.Â
Much like many Photoshop techniques, your success can depend on the photo you choose. Replacing a sky needs the right images in order for it to work. Compositing or replacing a background (which is really like texture blending), requires the right foreground photo and the right background photo to pull it off.Â
This technique is exactly the same, and in this video I’ll share with you (using my cat) what photos I think work best for it. Enjoy!
When I go to the “get more brushes” it takes me to a page that says to download sign in. Problem is I am signed into the cloud and it shows I am signed in but, there is no link to download the brushes. What am I missing?
I bought and I enjoyed the course at the computer for more than 9 hours in almost the same sit under, Thank you Matt!
Hi Matt, where is the Gallery for the Texture challenge?
Mattk.com/texture-challenge will get you there.
I am unable to import scenic texture pack into Ps. I have Windows 10. I tried every way suggested. Anyone had the same problem? Thank you.
Hi Irene. There are no textures to “Import” and the brushes come with video instructions. If the brushes are a problem please send us a message at mattk.com/contact and let us know what’s happening.
Thanks, Matt. I realized it soon after I sent this question. I am especially interested in making my own texture brushes.
This course is exactly what I needed for my bird photos.

Hi Matt,
looking forward to this course. I just returned on 18th March from a 3 week safari trip to Botswana, so I have tons of photos to go through. I startet to develop some of the images

but there is still lots to do. Adding a new creative touch to my photos using some of the blending techniques you teach in your course will for sure bring some great results.
Thanks and take care
Andreas
Wot no cat?
When will your wildlife blending course begin?
Hi Betsy. I was going to release it today (Tuesday 21st). However, I had a couple of ideas at the last minute to add to the course, so I’m pushing it to tomorrow. Thanks!
I’m waiting. Lol. I doing want to miss this. Thanks Matt.
It’s ready! mattk.com/wildlife 🙂
