Contrary to recommendations, I’m doing it from start to finish. It may be the most inspirational post-processing course of any kind I have ever followed – after every module, I go to the sample image and do my best to reproduce your workflow. Congratulations, you have surpassed yourself.

I have watched many of Matt’s free online tutorials and liked his style of teaching, and often found value in the segments I viewed. Now, I rarely purchase training; I tend to be pretty stingy on that kind of thing. This new course, entitled The Art of Editing Landscapes, has really opened my eyes to the subtle ways I can further enhance my landscape images using Lightroom and/or Photoshop. Of course, every image I share – or print – goes through my own process of editing, but what I loved about Matt’s course was the attention to the photographer’s vision, rather than an emphasis on technical corrections to images. When I (and no doubt, you) take the time to make a photograph, there is always a reason. Sometimes it’s obvious, sometimes it’s subtle. Regardless, I stop and capture something at a fraction of a second because, in some way, that scene moves me. The course from Matt helped bring this to the surface and reminded me that it’s OK to take some artistic license with your work, to help emphasize your message or feelings, at the time of exposure.

Matt, hits the nail on the head – VISION – it made me look at my photographs in a totally different way – creativity is such an individual thing.
I have now watched most of the videos which Matt explains in an easy to understand language some different ways to do basic techniques and much of it I was unaware possible to do in Lightroom. I have always done complete sky replacements in Photoshop but now Matt has shown me easier ways of improving skies. This is a great course and thank goodness Matt went ahead and created it because I have learnt so much.
I have enjoyed other courses by Matt but this one has a different refreshing approach. A big thanks.

I’m about 95% finished with The Art Of Landscape Editing. It is another fantastic training course offering all I have come to expect from you and more! From a late to the game old fart who lives in the world of black and white thinking, your new course has shown me there are also many shades of grey.
My main take away is that there is no right or wrong way to process images. That in and of itself is empowering The possibilities seem endless and your “vision” theme hit a nerve with me. Your “perfection is procrastination” point has been my theme song for many years. I couldn’t process my images perfectly so I would just not try for months at a time.
The course was also overwhelming and I will have to watch it a few times to absorb everything and get my thinking (and attitude) readjusted! However your gift for training makes it a pleasure.
Thank you for what you do and for your exceptional training. You have a gift. It has changed the game for me and I am grateful.

I am really enjoying The Art of Editing Landscapes course and I encourage everyone to go ahead and buy…you won’t be sorry. I have just started the course and already learned a lot of useful tips and techniques and I’m a bird photographer! Matt presents information in a practical, easy to digest method that enables me to go back and listen again and learn at my own pace. He is able to present complex editing techniques and explain them in a concise and clear way. It is a course that I will go back and listen multiple times. Thank you for your excellent teaching method!

Really enjoying this course. I like the way you present a large amount of detail in small video chunks which allows me time to consider the topic being discussed without feeling overwhelmed. This course covers a lot of ground and techniques but not in the traditional way. Instead of using your photographs with all your expertise and creative prowess, you use your community’s photographs making the results of the changes you explain so much more achievable. Your presentation is fresh and so easy to follow thanks to the length of each video and can be dipped into and out so easily . The course recognises that we have varied levels of abilities. However it introduces many topics which I would normally avoid due to their complexity. but you clarify them in a very succinct and manageable way. The subjects chosen are extremely useful and will improve my landscape editing hugely. I can’t wait to finish the course and have learnt so much already. Thank you for bringing Landscape editing to life and adding to my increasing enjoyment of photography.

I have taken your LR System Course, your PS System Course, and your Luminosity Masking Course, as well as having viewed most of your free video how-to presentations. They are the gift that keeps on giving. I re-watch lesson videos frequently to refine my editing techniques – and every time I repeat one, I learn new techniques that I had not noticed on the previous run through. You cover the basics and then present advanced techniques that let’s me continue learning from the same presentations.
I love that you allow us to download the course material so that we are not online dependent. That is important to me. The short, focused lesson videos let me learn specific tools and then practice them. When I need to, I can easily find and repeat a lesson when I start having trouble with a particular procedure.
I watch YouTube intensively to learn about many subjects, including photography. Your organized, consistent, friendly approach to teaching image editing makes the reasonable course fees easy to justify. Your courseware gives me a competitive advantage in my photo club competitions. I thank you for doing this.

I love Matt’s NEW Creative and Fine Arts Landscape Editing Course. He includes many new techniques that I haven’t seen before. He takes many basic strategies one step further to increase creativity in our photos. Yes, OUR photos. This course is different in that he requested photos from his followers to use as examples instead of his own. Therefore, there is a large array of landscape photos in this course, from water photos to mountain scenes to beautiful colorful fields from all over the country. He takes masking and selections to new heights, as well as other creative techniques that aren’t covered in other landscape editing courses. This course is totally worth the cost. One other thing I love about Matt and his courses is that he is always available to respond to our questions and or issues regarding his courses or anything photography related through his website and Facebook page.

I just wanted to say to you a big thanks. I have been photographing things since I was a kid and loved messing about in the darkroom with images, dodging and burning. Recently my interest has been waning, tried buying a new camera to get the buzz back but I was still flat a bit like my images. I see what I want but it seems i have to spend my life waiting for the ‘moment of light’. Yeah sometimes it happens but mostly I have to have my life and can’t do this waiting around and my artist side gets depressed at what I got. Then I saw your No Light No Problem course bought it and boy was that money well spent, thank you. The spark is back! I’ve just shelled out for your Art of Landscapes course now and am enjoying that too. You have transformed my photography it is now my art and I am truly loving it again, thanks again.
