This week Blake Rudis and I teamed up for a podcast on the changes to Adobe’s Terms of Service.
How to Listen/Watch
You can listen to the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Google. Or you can watch it below.
The podcast is NOT intended to be visual in any way, so all you’re doing is watching the two of us talk and nothing else. But if that’s the way you prefer it, feel free. Personally, podcasts are something I listen to when I have nothing else to do, or to keep me busy while doing something else – so I never watch them.

PRO TIP: I typically listen to podcasts on my phone while driving or in the gym. And I usually set most podcasts to 1.25x – 1.5x speed to get through it faster.
Since this IS NOT A TRAINING tutorial, and it’s just us talking, I think you can speed us up and get through it faster so feel free to give it a try. I can’t help you find that setting, but again… most podcast apps have it, so poke around. If you can use Lightroom and Photoshop I have no doubt you can figure out how to use a podcast app ?
Well done, gentlemen! Thank-you so much for the honest, and intelligent discussion.
BTW, Blake – I read your legal stuff when I signed-in for f64 academy. 🤓 It is impressive and as ‘plain-english’ as it gets!
Honestly, I did not even take the time to research this. It was so blatantly ridiculous on its face that it simply did not deserve an investment of my time.
I actually received an email from another photo educator I had followed and he was outraged and telling all of his followers that he had “other options” for them if they wanted to ditch Adobe!
He has had a history of being a bit melodramatic in my opinion, but this was the proverbial “last straw” for me. I ditched him rather than Adobe. I have unsubscribed from his website and all social channels and am blocking him from further contact with me.
As Matt and Blake have correctly pointed out, Adobe is a for profit company who stands to do nothing but LOSE business if this were true. It simply isn’t a reasonable or credible sounding statement coming from this company!
The internet is rife with all manner of misinformation, People hear a rumor and want to immediately spread it around in an effort to get “likes” from their followers! If you use social media, I would encourage you to unfollow anyone who is participating in this rampant spreading of rumors.
How many “hoaxes” (aka, LIES) do you need to hear about online before you realize that social media is NOT a credible source of information?
Congrats on breakin 80 Matt! I used to play a lot, scrambles mostly, but sure had a lot of fun. Never broke 100! But I had accepted the fact that I would always be a bogey golf golfer!
As a former pro golfer, I am totally impressed. I have noticed your white left hand since I started watching you! Many years ago. Congratulations. Now you can start doing it periodically. I hope you are a USGA member and have a GHIN handicap.
Thanks Jeanne. Too funny, only a golfer would see that. You should see my feet! White as a ghost. And yes I do keep an index with GHIN – my club requires it if you want to take part in events with your handicap applied. Thanks!
