Sony just opened up registration for the Sony Kando Trip this coming May. This is a very exclusive (and limited) event with Sony in Monterey, CA on May 9-12th. I’ll be there as an instructor for some photo editing classes as well as doing plenty of shooting. Anyway… Here’s a little back story on the event:
From Sony’s Website:
In 2017 Sony hosted more than 100 photographers, filmmakers,ย and creatives at an exclusive, one-of-a-kind photography event, Kando Trip 1.0. For three days, Sony Artisans Of Imagery and members of the Alpha Imaging Collective tuned out the world and immersed themselves in shooting, collaborating, learning, and having fun. The success of Kando Trip 1.0 has prompted Sony to open up attendance to the general public.
I’m super excited this year for two reasons: 1) I wasn’t able to attend last year because I had another teaching engagement already planned. So I had to sit and watch photos of the experience rather than get to be there ๐ 2) It’s taking place in one of my favorite places this year… in Monterey and along the rugged coastline near Big Sur. I absolutely LOVE shooting there!
If you’re interested the info is below. I’ll be teaching a photo editing workshop as well so we’ll get to go shooting as well as hang out in the classroom. I hope you’ll check it out.
When?: May 9-12th, 2018
Where?: Asilomar in Monterey, California
How?: You can apply for a spot right here. To keep it a small and intimate group setting, attendance is very limited though, so jump on it soon.

I love teaching and photography... In that order. I feel that enjoying photography, and photo editing can get WAY too complicated. So my personal mission (and favorite thing to do), is to create education that simplifies the process of taking great photos, and how to edit them to get the results youโve always wanted.
OMG – what a great event!
I love to enjoy the company of sony products
