This week we’re going to do another start to finish Photo Makeover using a great forest scene with some water running through it. Also, you can find out more about my No Light? No Problem! course over at mattk.com/light (just click here)

Love this process. Will be trying this.
Thank you for the video. It’s a very useful one. Also you’ve just explained how some of the portraits are post-processed. Now I will try the process both for landscape and portraits 🙂
This is very helpful
Matt – Thanks for this one. I like these real life demos of editing a photo. Very helpful. I was wondering if you’ve done any videos showing difference in workflow you might use on scenery vs. wildlife? Or do you use the same work flow in LRC then in PS?
Thank you, Matt. I love the end result; however, I would need you sitting right beside me because I’m more of a lightroom user than a photoshop user…would love to get better with photoshop though.
I have an unrelated question to ask you. I do have LR on my iphone and I can shoot RAW with my phone, but I’m wondering if I can import my RAW phone pictures into Lightroom on my Mac Pro? We are traveling soon to Scotland and I think I’m just going to take pictures with my phone instead of my DSLR, but I’d like to adjust them using my laptop instead of my phone. Is this possible? Thanks, Matt.
Hi Linda. You can import those in to Lightroom. I don’t have a tutorial on it but a some poking around Google should get you there. Thanks!
Loved the glow effect. That it can be dialed back makes your technique a go-to for sure.
For my taste, the right one is too dark and left too bright. Needs a better balance between the two.
For my taste, it’s not 😉
Amazing edit Matt, thank you so much for sharing
Thanks Matt . Always something I forgot or didn’t know in your videos.
Thanks Matt Great tutorial and much appreciated.
Do you still do a LR seminar in San Antonio?
Hi Bob… no I don’t.
As always, very easy to understand and extremely helpful. Thank you.
Thank you for your tutorials, Matt!
Helpful, easy and nice results at the end!
Great tutorial.
Matt,
Thank you for the useful tutorial.
Learning to be subtle and flexible with our approach and adjustments can really improve our images, and you teach this in a clear, concise manner.
Beautiful edit! I use the glow effect but have never used it with blend if! Great technique- thanks!!!
I like the glow effect. I’ve seen you do it before but it had escaped my recollection. Thanks for the video.
Nice! Thanks Matt
So good and useful. Gratias, Matt!
Love the gaussian blur tip using the blend options by double clicking the layer.
Good tutorial, Matt. You have an excellent teaching style which I appreciate!
Very good teaching!
