Adobe just released another update to Lightroom Classic CC – version 7.5. If you haven’t checked your Creative Cloud updater, now’s a good time to open and install the latest updates.
In this version they released some new book styles as well as a paper type. You’ll also find some changes to the preset panel, Facebook Publish Service changes, and HEIC support for Windows. If you’re interested in more, below you’ll find a 6 minute video that goes over the latest changes. Enjoy!
Hi Matt,
Does ur tutorials updated included updates from current version of Lightroom and photoshop
Hi Matt,
This is as wonderfully clear and simple as always, thank you. I stumbled upon Adobe’s page about the new features (https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/whats-new.html) and it mentions much simpler ways of importing new presets and profiles. I thought that was great. The old methods for installing presets were so convoluted, this looks a lot better.
Thanks for this Matt, much appreciated. Is there any way to organize the preset clusters? I have imported some 3rd party presets & they don’t automatically cluster by themselves. All my presets (except the LR ones) are in one cluster.
Thanks for all the great info. Hope you don’t mind a quick question, but I know you have the inside track…
Any idea when we might get clustering for the brush presets?
Hi Scott. I haven’t even heard of that one “on the table” as a feature request so I can’t say anything about it. Good idea, but I wouldn’t hold your breath 🙂
Scott, if you really like the idea of clustering Adjustment Brush presets, the place to make an official request is: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/categories/photoshop_family_photoshop_lightroom .
Matt I love your videos, so well presented and easy to understand. I wonder if you can help me out? I tried to use a Huion tablet with my Windows 7 computer and couldn’t get anywhere with it, probably because of drivers issues. I’m thinking of buying a new laptop with Windows 10 and a tablet for photo editing or a combination laptop/ tablet. I had one IT person who recommended a laptop/ tablet made by D*** ( incase I’m not supposed to mention the brand) for about $1,000. Any comment you have on this issue what would work best would be appreciated.
Matt, A big thank you, for being you. Your videos are awesome, your instincts to try to help us all are MUCH appreciated since it’s getting harder and harder to get clear info from adobe and the adobe experts. You are my go-to. I will gladly purchase your products when they match my workflow. Keep up the good work. The world needs more good guys like you.
I only know what CC updates consist when I get my email from MattK. I just wait for the video and watch it, so much better and simpler than spending time deciphering Adobe’s messages.
Am I missing a similar one for Photoshop updates, is that a different mailing list I should be on?
Hi Glenn – nope, I usually do a video if there’s anything significant in Photoshop. Photoshop usually just get’s a Camera Raw update (which is the same as Lightroom). But when there is something new, I do a video for it.
Thanks!
All of the useful “Classic” presets seem to have disappeared. Adobe confirms this, but why? Being able to apply the AI “sensei” presets at import was really useful. Now suddenly gone.
Any idea why they would do this?
Hmmm. I haven’t seen that from Adobe. Heck… I’ve been using LR since it came out and I don’t ever remember even seeing a “sensei” preset. Where ever you read that confirmed it, did it say why?
I read on another site they are not gone but hidden. You have to go in and unhide those you wish to see.
I would love to know more? Like Matt, I’d never heard of them. How do you “unhide” them?
Ok found a link which explains

[Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ] will refresh your Apps showing the Adobe Creative Cloud App. Try that before signing out/signing in or restarting.
Very informative. Thanks. I guess Adobe is doing a slow roll out. It’s not in my cloud app yet.
I’m going to check out your presets and profiles as well. I already have some from you, which I use a lot.
It’s rolled out fully. Maybe restart or sign in and out of your cloud app and you should see it.
