Every year around this time, ON1 Photo Raw gets a big “dot 5” update which is free for existing users of that version. So I thought I’d take a few minutes to give you a quick overview of what’s new. I love teaching and photography... In that order. I feel that enjoying photography, and photo editing can get WAY too complicated. So my personal mission (and favorite thing to do), is to create education that simplifies the process of taking great photos, and how to edit them to get the results you’ve always wanted.

Thanks Matt for the update. More concise info than ON1 gives out, which is more of a sales pitch.
What about On 1’s noise reduction which is supposed to be improved? I bought the Topaz plug in on your recommendation during the Virtual Summit 2021. Then I noticed On1 touting their noise reduction. I haven’t upgraded On 1 yet.
On1 ‘s Noise reduction is coming out in June 21
Disappointed to see On1 is doing their denoise as a seperate product and hense more $ rather than adding it into photoraw.
Subscriptions where you automatically get all new stuff don’t seem so bad now do they 😉
All joking aside… I guess I’d say that you paid for your perpetual version of ON1. And they delivered exactly what they promised you right? So why would you be entitled to something new when you ever paid for it in the first place?
