Adobe typically releases their new version of Photoshop every year around this time. This year, we’re a little early since they usually do it at Adobe Max in mid October.
Anyway, we now have a new full version of Photoshop which brings us to Photoshop 2024 (internally the version is 25.0 or higher depending on when you read this).

Each fall Adobe updates Photoshop to a new yearly name. This is installed as a SEPARATE application on your computer. That means that after you install it, you’ll have two versions of Photoshop. Photoshop 2023, which is last year’s version, and Photoshop 2024 which is the new one. Once you install Photoshop 2024, you can check to make sure all of your presets have moved over and you can then delete Photoshop 2023 as you no longer need it.
As always… ALL QUESTIONS REGARDING UPGRADING, FINDING, INSTALLING, MOVING, ETC… SHOULD BE DIRECTED TOWARD ADOBE AND NOT IN THE COMMENTS HERE.
Lastly, I recorded a video showcasing what’s new including the full release of Generative Fill, which is no longer in beta. Enjoy!

I love your teaching, I own most of your stuff
We’ve communicated before I don’t know if you remember me
I have a traumatic brain injury, and your videos are so helpful
I’m wondering I own a Mac and I’m gonna buy a MacBook Pro
Do you have any lessons or thoughts on storage that would be portable
I do high volume pictures, and I’d like to travel with my library if possible
Or a good system would be convenient office to home
Thanks for your help. I appreciate you my friend.
Tom
Hi Tom. Good to hear from you.
I don’t have any suggestions. As you can see in my videos, my hard drives are very large and I don’t have personal experience with anything smaller.
Good course start
