Hi everyone!
Adobe recently released some new Photoshop features this week. One of the bigger features is a new way of finding and removing distractions which is always one of the main reasons we even go in to Photoshop in the first place (as a photographer).
In this week’s video we’ll take a look at what’s new and which ones I think you should pay attention to.

I love teaching and photography... In that order. I feel that enjoying photography, and photo editing can get WAY too complicated. So my personal mission (and favorite thing to do), is to create education that simplifies the process of taking great photos, and how to edit them to get the results you’ve always wanted.
I’ll try again with my other email address.
I couldn’t watch it. So why again am I signing in and being asked to provide a comment before I see the video? I’m a regular Matt K subscriber
Just an fyi, downloaded the new version of PS. The “General Distractions” feature is not supported on Mac Intel machines.
Thank you, Matt, for this info on Photoshop! Although I don’t use Lightroom I have been an avid Photoshop user for over 20 years. I appreciate your helpful Photoshop tips!
I saw your comment and decided to look this up since I have a Mac after watching Matt’s video.
“Yes, the new General Distractions removal feature in Adobe Photoshop (as of early 2026) is fully applicable and functional on Apple computers.”
