You may (or may not have) noticed that in each of these “Get the Most” videos I’m flip flopping between a photography feature and an overall creative feature. This time around we’re going to take a look at Adobe Capture. This is yes another app you get for free as part of your Adobe $9.99/month subscription and it’s pretty darn fun to play with.
Especially during this time where just about every person in the world is stuck inside, you don’t need to go anywhere to use this one. Essentially it’s an app for your phone that let’s you capture things with the camera like color harmonies, patterns, textures, fonts, LUTs and use them in your Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries (click here to see the video where I covered Libraries). It’s a ton of fun, so let’s check it out.
Hi, Matt
I have the $9.99 plan, but when I click on “Windows” there is no option listed for “Libraries”. What do I need to do so Libraries shows up?
Thanks!
Hi David. Other than making sure you have the latest version of PS Installed and open (v 21.1.3) I don’t know how to troubleshoot that.
Thanks for your informative tutorial. What am I missing? I tried adobe capture on my ANDROID phone. I don’t sign in, it just opens. Save projects (shapes) appears on my phone but it doesn’t appear in my photoshop DESKTOP library. I use a different email and password for adobe creative cloud. Any suggestions for getting it into photoshop? Thanks so much
Hi Scott. The only way it’ll sync is if you are signed in to your Adobe account with the name / email you use for the Adobe Creative Cloud and when you sign in to your desktop apps. Thanks
HI, I dont pay 9.99, its a lot more. who is paying 9.99?
Hi Bonnie. If you don’t pay 9.99 you chose a higher plan with either 1) More cloud storage space and/or 2) More applications (not just LR or PS). You can always go in to your adobe account and change this or give the a call.
I really appreciate the videos and webinars you are providing during these times. I am sheltered in place and your work is something I have to look forward to each day. Thank you!
Glad to help George!
As always, your videos are useful, informative and fun. And your “Get the Most From Adobe” series has been so helpful. Thanks Matt
Thanks Mario!!! 🙂
