This week I thought I’d share a full photo edit from start to finish in Lightroom. Don’t forget that you can use the same tools in Photoshop’s Camera Raw or even the Lightroom “cloud” version.

It’s nice to see you’re still using Lightroom Classic!
Fabulous tutorial Matt. Very helpful
Thank you Matt. This was very informative and helpful!
Your start-to-finish videos are awesome, I enjoy watching how you work through editing a photo and I always learn something.
Very good , thanks. Very helpful
Thank you, your tips and hints are very helpful – and appreciated.
Thanks, Matt. Excellent tutorial on small, subtle tweaks which make a lot of difference in the overall mood of a photograph. Love your easy going style; it makes learning fun.
For a newcomer to Lightroom Classic this was a great in two to the benefits of masking before applying adjustments. Thanks
Matt – Excellent demonstration of what can be done to apply the various Lightroom features to improve landscape photos. Keep up the good work and help each of us to improve our photographic skills.
Love your tutorials
Love your videos. You always make them so simple to use. I’m pretty good at LR but learned a few new tricks today.
Thanks
Amazing content Matt! – truly is well done and informative!
I would like you to edit the very dark foreground.
No thanks. It looks good to me.
Thank You!

Hi Matt
I noticed when you did the selection to remove the rocks from the sky edit, that halos became visible. Would the start with selecting the sky give a better selection without halos?
Thanks
Doug
Hi… It’s possible. Whatever they were I didn’t notice them enough. But there are 10 different ways to make each mask so give it a try if you have an issue.
Outstanding video, Matt ( and I have seen quite a number of them) .
As always Mat another great video. I like the pace of these photo makeovers and the repetition of so many tips, especially when using masks. Great for people who are always in the learning phase of using LR.
The edit is nice but the key part of this starts just about 16:50, the creation of the sky replacement group and adjusting opacity.
That’s the perfect tip.
Very helpful video – learned a few little tricks
Very good tutorial. Very comprehensive.
