Adobe added a new feature to Camera Raw this past week and I thought I’d take a few minutes to show you how to use it. Keep in mind this feature isn’t yet in Lightroom, but if Adobe follows what they typically do, it will eventually make it there.
Also, if you’d like to see what’s new in Lightroom and Lightroom Classic, just click here.
Enjoy!
If you receive a “Sign in to Confirm You’re not a bot” message this is not my website that causes this. This is a YouTube / Apple Safari issue. You can read more about it and how to fix it here. Alternatively you can copy/paste the link to this page in to another non-Apple browser or go directly to my YouTube page to watch this video. Thanks!

While it’s easy to convert a CR2 to jpeg, can I convert my new jpeg files to CR so I can use the new features in Camera Raw 17.2.0.2155 ?
Hi Morris. No, a raw file needs to be captured in raw in the camera. There are tools that will mimic this but nothing is truly raw unless it was shot in raw mode in your camera. Thanks.
Interesting. So it seems the feature to remove telephone lines, etc. wasn’t added to ACR. Just remove ppl.
Thanks, Matt! I would probably never discover some of these features if you didn’t tell me about them.
Are you an empty nester now? I followed you so long that I remember him as a little tyke.
