Adobe just updated Photoshop with some new selection features as well as Camera Raw’s distraction and noise reduction features. In this video we’ll take a look at what’s new. Enjoy!
If you’re interested in the mini course and presets I mention in the video, just click here.

If you receive a “Sign in to Confirm You’re not a bot” message this is not my website that causes this. This is a YouTube / Web Browser issue. You can read more about it and how to fix it here but there’s nothing I can do about it on my site and very few people receive this message. Also, You can copy/paste the link to this page in to another browser or go directly to my YouTube page to watch this video. Thanks!

I love teaching and photography... In that order. I feel that enjoying photography, and photo editing can get WAY too complicated. So my personal mission (and favorite thing to do), is to create education that simplifies the process of taking great photos, and how to edit them to get the results youโve always wanted.
As always, quite helpful!
Thanks Matt!
Excellent information as usual. Many thanks.
I’ve been using the Beta version for selecting subjects in my product photography. Before that version jagged edges were driving me crazy and sometimes had to go back to the pen tool. The selection tool in Beta was pretty much flawless. Is the new selection tools in Ps 2025 June Update the same selection engine as was in the Beta version? (I hope so.)
Hi Jerry. I don’t know about that one. Thanks
Thank you Matt
