Adobe released a new update to Lightroom (both Lightroom and Lightroom Classic) this week and I wanted to go over the features. The first part of the video covers Lightroom Classic and the second part covers Lightroom so feel free to skip to that part (7:10 timecode) if you only use Lightroom.

I love teaching and photography... In that order. I feel that enjoying photography, and photo editing can get WAY too complicated. So my personal mission (and favorite thing to do), is to create education that simplifies the process of taking great photos, and how to edit them to get the results you’ve always wanted.

My Catalog settings do not show a “backups” tab. I’m not sure what to do about that. Can you give me some suggestions?

greetings Matt…i am a lightroom classic user.I follow all your tutorials and have a some of your courses i heard you say you don’t use classic? is there a benefit for me to switch to lightroom?
Adaptive doesn’t show up when I browse profiles. I’ve checked for updates and I’m updated. Is there a file type filter negating it’s use?
Raw files only, according to the message I got after updating.
Matt, any idea when or if adobe will add print capability to lightroom??????????? 😊

I was impresses with the Ligntroom features . If I were to switch to Lightroom Classic, what features would I be giving up. And … will Lightroom let me keep the same photo library (50,000+ with collections) in basicically the same arrangement I use in Classic? Do you have a tutorial on changing over?
